The Pi Phi membership experience begins with participation in sorority primary recruitment, which takes place in the Fall at the start of every school year. Beginning on September 5th (orientation) and concluding on September 12 (bid day), undergraduate members of 17 Panhellenic Chapters meet incoming potential new members (PNMs). Our recruitment process is designed to eagerly welcome PNMs into our home with a respectful and enthusiastic embrace. This journey is an opportunity to learn about our sisterhood, meet our members, and discover if our chapter is the right fit for you! Community round (September 6th & 7th) is the opportunity to meet members of all chapters for the first time and get to know the Greek Community. We want to make this process comfortable, as it can be overwhelming, so our home welcomes you with comfort and encouragement. Next are the philanthropy rounds (September 8th & 9th), allowing you to build stronger relationships and learn about our wonderful foundation, Read > Lead > Achieve. We are passionate about spreading awareness about illiteracy across the Nation, hoping to shape a more prosperous society through a lifelong love of reading. In the final days of Primary Recruitment, we encourage you to ask questions to understand our philanthropic efforts, genuine friendships, and support systems within our chapter.
